  Opioids, intravenous fluids, regional anaesthesia, ketamine infusions, and Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) are frequently used by paediatric Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) children to treat pain during an acute vaso-occlusive episode.
