Role of pharmacist during COVID-19 pandemic: an updated review

Public health officials are concerned about COVID-19, which can cause severe acute respiratory illness in humans. Since its discovery in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, it has spread rapidly around the world. The causative virus, SARS-CoV-2, has been named Coronavirus Disease 2019 by the World Health Organization (WHO) (COVID-19). Italy was the first western country to be hit by the pandemic, and COVID-19 was found there. RT-PCR tests, therapy controversies, intrauterine transmission and maternal-fetal complications are some of the diagnostic issues that need to be addressed in order to understand pathogenesis and vulnerability. When it comes to medical conditions that require medication and equipment, such as protective clothing, pharmacists have been instrumental in helping patients learn about their options.
