The Journal of Environmental Geology follows the double blind peer review process, reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers. There is at least one external reviewer for each article in the issue for validating the work of researchers/scholars/scientists. The review processing of the journal is performed by the editorial board members of the journal along with preliminary review from editorial office.
Every submitted manuscript processed for preliminary quality control check by editorial office followed by external peer review process. Usually preliminary quality control completes within 7 days and is majorly with reference to journal formatting, English and journal scope.
