Angular Velocity

Angular velocity is the velocity rate at which an object or particle rotates around a center or a particular point in a given period of time. It is also called rotational speed. Angular velocity (rad / s) is measured in angle per unit time or radians per second. Let us know more about the relationship between angular speed and linear speed, angular displacement, and angular acceleration. Angular acceleration is a non-constant velocity and is similar to linear translational motion acceleration. Knowing linear displacement, momentum, and acceleration is simple and that's why we equate the vectors with translational motion as we expect to analyze rotational motion. As with linear acceleration, angular acceleration (α) is the rate of angular velocity change over time. Since the direction of angular velocity is now fixed for rotation around a fixed axis, the direction of angular momentum α is also fixed. The vector equation for these situations turns into a scalar equation.
