The pancreas is an organ situated in the midsection. It assumes a basic job in changing over the food we eat into fuel for the body's cells. The pancreas has two primary capacities: an exocrine capacity that helps in processing and an endocrine capacity that directs glucose. The pancreas contains exocrine organs that produce chemicals critical to processing.
