Midwives

Midwives are one of the healthcare workers who take care of the mother and newborn babies during childbirth. Midwifery is similar to the nursing profession. Midwifery is considered as an important profession in many developed countries. Midwifery professionals differ from other healthcare professionals by their management skills, education, and training. They know how to deal with a newborn baby and a mother right after childbirth. The midwives are useful in taking care of premature babies, breech birth, twins, and triplets. They undergo training to recognize the difference in the normal childbirth and the c-section birth. The midwives generally support the women, during pregnancy, and their postpartum period. The new mothers can undergo anxiety and depression due to breastfeeding and various factors that can be determined as the postpartum period. As midwifery professionals, they help to take care of the baby and educate the mother about various factors include handling the baby, breastfeeding, etc. so, midwives are considered as one of the significant professions all over the world. The scope of midwives is to handle the birth and the pregnant of the women. They are trained to handle various labor sessions in pregnancy include c-section surgery, instrumental deliveries, and normal deliveries.
