The needle stick injury is caused by the hypodermic needle or any other sharp object. The needle is penetrated through the skin that has been contacting with blood, tissue, or any other body fluids before the exposure. This kind of injury is known as needle stick injury. Needle stick injury does not have any pain in the body. Although this injury does not have any physiological effects on humans. But the risk is high for the transmission of bloodborne diseases. The various bloodborne disease that can be transmitted is the human immunodeficiency virus and hepatitis B virus. There are various diseases in the humans have been registered as the needle stick injury. The virus can also be transmitted through contaminants with the patient. There are various risks in the needle stick injury to transmit a viral disease. There are numerous people who have been affected by needle stick injuries every year.
