Medical Toxicology: Current Research is an open access medical journal that publishes original scientific manuscripts based on latest trends and recent innovations relating to emergency treatment and management practices required for handling clinical presentations of poisoning and adverse drug reactions.

The aims and scope of the Medical Toxicology: Current research journal incorporates toxic mechanisms and susceptibility, intentional and unintentional acute/chronic poisoning, drug overdoses, drug associated side effects with special reference to cardiac medications, drug abuse, natural toxins, chemical products, etc.

The journal welcomes original manuscripts based on principle and/or applicatory aspects of clinical toxicology, neurotoxicology, biomonitoring and emergency medicine. Furthermore, the journal also focusses on the worldwide dissemination of information pertaining to the development of novel methods of envenomations.

The journal adopts a double blind peer review process to screen each article submitted in its editorial manager system. Positive review from at least two independent reviewers is mandatory for the acceptance of any article. The publication of articles relies on the final decision of the editor-in-chief of the journal.
