The immensely challenging times of today, mandate constant Innovation so that healthcare delivery continues to save lives uninterrupted. A constantly evolving scenario though demanding (on nursing personnel tasked to learn, adapt, and implement innovative ideas) can also positively impact their careers and create more opportunities to touch lives, and gain greater job satisfaction. Purpose: Education is the key to providing exceptional quality care to patients. Nursing education prepares Nurses to anticipate and meet diverse needs of patients, at the same time enabling a deeper understanding of healthcare reforms. Methodology: Adaptation Programmes; In-service Education, On-job Training, Incidental Teaching, Talk-of-the-Week Preceptor/Preceptee Concept, etc. are key. Online Training / Digital Education has played an indispensable role right during Covid-19 Pandemic. Changes in Nursing Education/Findings: The transformation of the healthcare industry, supported by nursing education, has also impacted the nursing domain, enhancing patient care substantially. Adopting current trends and technology in education and practice as recommended by WHO, is making Nurses more efficient and keeping them better informed. Smart phones and wearables, software-enabled command centers, and various apps/devices offer critical insights easily shared with other clinicians. Big Data is radically transforming healthcare and nursing education. The abundance of data, will redefine core competencies of future students, mandating exposure to Data Science, Data Analytics, and new technology platforms and solutions. COVID-19 pandemic has restricted movement of Nurses from practicing to teaching, making it imperative to update learning delivery and lower nursing shortage. Pay revisions, specialisations, online teaching / learning, are some paradigm shifts already gaining momentum. Conclusion: Change is challenging. Trusting the new, letting go of the old, investing in emerging technologies can be both disruptive and stressful, but would yield positive outcomes in healthcare.
