Abstract
The purpose of this article is to study the basic Scheimpflug corneal topography technology and instrumentation. Initially describes the reason that led us to look for new technologies outside the Placido disk, the operating principle of this technology (ORBSCAN), and downstream equipment of similar instruments (PENTACAN and GALILEI). Next presents the results that give us the afore mentioned devices (maps) and the method of reading and interpreting them.
