The Journal of Surgery: Case Report (SCR) is a quarterly, open-access, peer reviewed journal that provides an international platform to publish the eminent research work from all over the world by several renowned research scholars, therefore aiding in enhancing the quality of the journal. The Journal comprises several original research articles, clinical studies, case reports, review articles which describes a broad range of topics including gastroenterological surgery, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, pediatric surgery, transplant surgery, and emergency surgery.
The journal also publishes articles that are related to basic as well as the recent research in the field of medicine. The journal follows the stringent peer review process only after which an article is accepted for the publication. The Journal is accessed by the research scientists and also cited.
During the calendar year of 2019-2020, there were a total of two editors and also five Reviewers who have joined the board of Journal of SCR and have contributed their valuable services towards the contribution as well as in the publication of articles, and also their valuable reviewer comments which were beneficial for publishing the article with the good quality in the Journal.
Authors are cordially invited to submit their current research activities and outcomes in the form of any article type of science communication such as original research, review, expert opinion, commentary, short note communication to our Journal. The articles have been globally appreciated by authors all around the world.
The articles can be submitted by Editorial Tracking System or as an E-mail attachment to the Editorial Office at editor@pulsus.com or surgery@ emedicalscience.com.
SCR has published all the issues of volume 4 online within using Online Review and Editorial Tracking Systems for the time duration and the print issues were also have been brought out and are dispatched within the duration of 30 days of publishing the issue online during the year of 2019- 2020.
During the calendar year of 2019-2020, the Journal of SCR have received a total of 17 manuscripts, out of which around 3 articles (15%) were rejected in the preliminary screening process due to plagiarism or due to being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 14 articles were subjected for the publication after they have been accepted in the peer review process. In the 3 issues of Volume 3 and Volume 4 published during the year 2019- 2020, a total of 14 articles were published (at an average of 4 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from quality review process and the authors can submit manuscripts and track their progress.
I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of (Dr. Philippe Metellus) during the final editing of articles published and also the support which have been rendered by the editorial assistant, in bringing out the issues of SCR Journal in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of SCR Journal, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of SCR Journal and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 4 issue 2 of SCR Journal in scheduled time.
