Neurodegeneration is the end result of a variety of neurodegenerative, neurovascular, and neuroinflammatory illnesses, as well as brain trauma and ageing. However, seeing neurodegeneration as a pathological/clinical epiphenomenon of a variety of particular pathogenetic pathways has not resulted in a single neurodegenerative model or a solution. The failure of the Neurodegeneration is the end result of a variety of neurodegenerative, neurovascular, and neuroinflammatory illnesses, as well as brain trauma and ageing. However, seeing neurodegeneration as a pathological/clinical epiphenomenon of a variety of particular pathogenetic pathways has not resulted in a single neurodegenerative model or a solution. The failure of the glymphatic-lymphatic system appears to be linked to neurodegeneration (G-Ls). This system is a functionally integrated entity in the CNS that regulates solute trafficking and immune surveillance. The aquaporin-4 water channels direct CSF flow from the subarachnoid spaces into the perivascular spaces and then into the interstitium through the G-Ls. The cerebrospinal-interstitial fluid then drains harmful chemicals and immune cells from the brain into the meninges and deep lymph nodes via the venous perivascular and perineural regions.
