To ‘screen’ is to perform a mass examination of the population with the understanding that there will be a health benefit that outweighs the costs and inconvience. While sexual dysfunction is a common problem and treatment is often effective, it is a lifestyle condition and does not warrant the use of precious health care resourses to survey and treat the general Canadian population.
