Introduction: with the emergence of covid 19 and its arrival in Mexico, in January 2020, cases of vascular events due to thrombosis caused by covid have risen by 25% in my community and have affected the time of patients to go to the hospital.
Method: we have increased publicity to tell patients that, they should go to the hospital at any time, to detect the signs and symptoms of a stroke, as well as we have varied the techniques for endovascular treatment of this neurovascular problem, since now arrive with more lag time.
Conclusions: there has really been little increase in the presentation of patients with covid and stroke at the appropriate time, due to the fear of going to the hospital for covid 19 and endovascular techniques, they are insufficient since arriving too late for care in our hospitals there are serious physical consequences for patients and psychological consequences for their families.
