Latest reports of World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that, diabetes population will increase by 122% in 2025; in

developing countries, the number of patients has increased from 84 million to 228 million people which shows a 170% increase.

to almost double to 134 million by 2025. This presents a serious public health challenge to a country facing a future of high
